User research and interviews to get the pain points before the UI design is locked into place.
An App Being Born
Costume Closet is a mobile application that tracks all the details, budget, calendar, parts, progress, and inspiration for costume projects for beginners to professionals.
​
It is unique as a mobile app because it remembers all the details for you. To do this, my team did extensive interviews and observations of costumers and cosplayers, from beginners to club members to professionals and entertainment professionals, to see how this is managed today and what is needed to make it easier.
​
This project is very much still in development so all the writing and designs are low-fidelity or sketches while being tested by usability.
